Will a change of Congress really work this November?
To tell you the honest to God truth, I think it won't make a bit of difference. People today are fickle. Two years ago they thought that Barack Obama was a god among men. He's no different now then he was two years ago. He's still a liberal Democrat who likes to spend money. So what the hell are people whining about? Did they not pay attention to his track record? Did they even bother to think before they voted? Most likely not. Got news, Republicans won't make a damn bit of difference when they are put back into power. Politicians spend money. How do you think they stay in office so long?
The only real way to change the political landscape is do away with all re-elections. Make everyone limited to one term only in the House and Senate. President too. No more special interests to worry about. No more big money controlling America. Politicians will have nothing to gain by only listening to the big special interest groups. This will finally do what would be good for everyone - having your elected officials actually enact the laws that will make our country better.
Oh yeah, and I doubt they'll be spending America into so much more debt that it may take billions of years to take us out of the hole. But mark my words, even if there is a massive change in the political spectrum this November, it won't make a damn bit of difference. The only thing that will change is how the tax dollars are spent.
To those of you who are whining about Obama, but voted for him two years ago - quit crying. You should have known what you were getting when you punched your choice in the ballot box. He's who he is. He's ultra-liberal. What the hell did you think he was going to do when he arrived at the White House? Have tea with all the Republicans? C'mon, you should have known better. Nothing against him personally, but politically he does not have what it takes to guide the most powerful nation on earth. He's in way over his head. But you insisted that a rookie pilot who's barely flown a Cessna jump into a 747 and fly it safely across the country? Sorry, I really have no words there for you.
