Iran and a Nuclear Bomb - Say what?
Easier said than done.
That's the famous old adage that rings true for generations upon generations, and thousands of years to thousands of years. There is a lot of talk in the media that Iran is going to build a nuclear bomb. Yeah, and what are they really going to do with that nuclear bomb? The answer, not a damn thing. When the logical masses sit down and realize what the catastrophic consequences for unleashing a nuclear bomb on Israel or the United States, they will not have the fortitude to actually pull the trigger. Iran simply can not unleash a nuclear bomb into Israel without killing everyone of their surrounding allies on all borders. Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Jordan would all be wiped out and suffer catastrophic damage. You think everyone over there believes in jihad. Well, maybe you forgot to watch the uprising in many Arab world countries this year. Seventy percent of the Arab population is under the age of 30. That's 70%!
They have the information thanks to the internet, Twitter, Facebook, Google, Yahoo, and every other social media and news outlets in the world. When they sit down and realize that a select few in Iran's visions of jihad means wiping their asses straight off the globe and blowing them half way to Mars, they'll rally in masses again. The basic fear among any person, without regard to race, creed, religion - is death. Everyone, deep down inside, fears death. The fear of the unknown after you're gone is the scariest part to the inner soul of your existence. They'll realize very quickly that devastating effects of a nuclear war are a lose/lose situation in any scenario you draw. Israel is too small of a land mass for the Iranians to unleash any sort of bomb that would only cause Israel harm. Iran bombing the United States? Not a snowball's chance in hell. They couldn't even get a nuclear bomb into the United States by air. Lord knows it would be blown to pieces halfway across the Atlantic Ocean.
Now, I don't walk in the shoes of the Israelis. I can't criticize their actions for wanting to bomb Iran. However, I will state that it will be a grave error and will backfire badly. If Israel attacks Iran, the price of crude will skyrocket. Even though the Arab world does not even supply close to 20% of the world's supply, they set the prices. Iran would cease the supply of oil to the rest of the world to put a stranglehold on the supply and demand axis curve. If they cut the supply of oil, with the increased demand; the price rises. Simple economics, nothing more. You think people are complaining about paying $3.75 at the pump now, wait until you're paying $7.75 at the pump. If you think I'm joking, well God help you. The second biggest error would be to unite those who share the same common mission of jihad. The Arabs are famous for fighting with each other. But when they have a reason to table their differences and unite against one central cause, trouble brews and boils over quickly.
Now, say Israel attacks Iran. There is another major miscalculation. How are you going to destroy an underground target when your bombs can't even see them? Israel should hold off until all available options are off the table. I understand they are the poor sheep surrounded by many hungry wolves. However, let the farmer help before you attack the wolves yourselves. The cost of the fight will far outweigh the benefits of victory. If Iran cuts the oil supply and the price of crude doubles or triples, the world economy will feel a negative ripple that will send shockwaves around the globe. Half of Europe is still reeling from their stupid spending decisions. God knows that United States has spent more money that it should have for so many years now. Our economy is not in good shape. The politicians are telling you everything you want to hear. This in an election year, you should expect such rhetoric. However, gas prices are rising. They're not done. The longer the rest of the world continues to fear that Iran will actually use a nuclear bomb, the more the hostile tensions remain. Iran is already messing with the supply of oil to Europe. Any more flexing of muscle, and they'll mess with the economic strings more than they're doing now.
Let them have their nuclear facility. I guarantee you that when push comes to shove, they don't have the fortitude to unleash that nuclear bomb. Not even on Israel. They'd kill more Arabs than Jews. Whether Iran likes it or not, the rest of the Arab partners know this to be true. The Isrealis would be better served to keep an eye in the sky than attack Iran. You can tell when the nuclear bomb is about to be unleashed. People are stupid by nature, they just can't keep a secret. Once they actually get a nuclear bomb aimed at Israel, then the Israelis should beat them into annihilation. They'd have that right. They have to protect their sovereign borders. But better to be the one attacking in defense, than being the provocateur. It will save a hell of a lot of grief everywhere else around the globe.
