Egpyt Riots could be bad news for everyone

The recent unrest in Egypt could be bad news for everyone. This kind of instability threatens everyone in the Middle East region. If their government is overthrown, who could be next? Well, anyone to tell you the blatant truth. I'm not at all surprised that we are seeing this kind of massive angry demonstration. Why am I not surprised? Simple, for generations now, the masses have been spoiled by the notion that privileges are rights, and damn sure not privileges. Governments have doled out so many bailouts for all the ones who've made bad choices that people expect everything for nothing. In Egypt, the poor are uprising because the spike in food and energy costs have created a huge shortage. Anytime that people continuously take from a system and give nothing in return, the prices of everything rise. There is no such thing as a free lunch. NEVER! Someone has to pay. ALWAYS!

The riots in Greece last year proved that the masses of people can't handle the cold reality of what Pandora's Box has unleashed. The United States is guilty of this same poisonous notion that there should be bailouts to help everyone in need. Take from the rich and give to the poor. To hell with the rich, they can afford this plan. It's only fair, you know? Well, it's a stupid and foolish misconception to think that redistribution of this kind of massive wealth solves all problems. You can't bail out people for their own foolish choices. The only way to correct these mistakes is for those who make them to face the consequences of their choices. Many European nations are coming to grips with this nasty, cold reality. Far too long people have taken from the pot and given nothing in return. Now the wells are running dry. Riots in Greece when their benefits ran out. Now, riots in Egypt because the masses of poor are faced with the reality that you don't get a free ride forever. Their leader has been there for nearly three decades. They want him out, and they want more democracy. Hell, everyone wants change. Well, they want change when it comes for free.

If Egypt collapses, look for other dominoes to fall in the Middle East. Yemen faces protests over it's population in a tizzy. Same for Jordan. And what about Israel? Their only real ally in the Middle East faces a rocky future. If Egypt falls into the hands of another madman who wants to wipe out anyone who doesn't worship Allah, they are within striking distance. Iraq is still in a rocky transition period. Iran is still under the control of a crazed defacto dictator. God knows he'd blow Israel off the map in a heartbeat if the US was rendered powerless.

Only time will tell, but this could be a big time transition year in the history of global politics. As for the unrest, with the continued spike in food and energy shortages; well everyone is in line for the falling dominos. This is only the beginning of a very rocky, turbulent ride. Strap your seatbelts tight, because the ride from here on out is only going to get a lot more uncomfortable and bumpy.
